Three months from now you will not sound like you do today.
That line is in the welcome letter every coached student gets. This page is what happens in between: the twelve sessions, the work between them, the tools you get, and who it’s for. Nothing here is a promise about you. All of it is a description of the work.
Twelve sessions. This is the shape of them.
Click a number. Every session has what happens in the room and what you do before the next one. It’s the shape, not the script — if your voice needs two weeks on something, it gets two weeks.
Where the voice actually lives
Your instrument, and why no two people sound alike even on the same note. Timbre, resonance and the three registers you already use without noticing. Betty Botter as a warm-up, not a party trick.
Ten questions about your own voice, answered out loud into a phone. No script yet — just you, talking.
The homework is the programme.
The Friday hour shows you what to do. The reps between Fridays are what change your voice, and they have to be yours. Every piece you send gets listened to properly and comes back with notes — written, rated, and as a voice note where Craig plays your take and talks over it, word by word.
Hear what a session sounds like.
These are lifted straight out of real coaching sessions — the stretches where Craig is explaining something to a student. Nothing re-recorded, nothing tidied. There are thirty-eight of them on the Nuggets page, free.

The instruments.
Coached students get the whole Academy, for life. These are the tools inside it — every one built here, every one used in the sessions above.
The curriculum is still being written. From your sessions.
Every online course is filmed once and then slowly dies. This one is written from live sessions with real students and shipped within days. When something happens in your Friday that the Academy doesn’t cover yet, it becomes a lesson — and everyone gets it. These are dated, because they’re checkable.
Who this is for.
A professional, and a parent.
“The reads and demonstrations you give in the voice notes are spot on and very helpful. I'm listening to them thinking, 'I wish I'd done it like that'. The attention to detail you give is amazing. It's extremely encouraging when you are making positive comments, but I'm nodding my head in agreement with the criticisms.”
“He was on a buzz the whole weekend after doing that, as he is really loving the lessons.”
What this is not.
It is not a course you complete. There is no point at which someone declares you finished, because that is not how this craft works — people who have done it for thirty years still get directed.
What three months buys you is a working instrument, an ear that can hear what is wrong with your own take, and the vocabulary to be directed by a stranger in a studio. That is a lot. Whether you are ready to charge for it by the end depends almost entirely on how much of the homework you actually do.
Craig will tell you when something is not working. Not to be hard on you — because being told "lovely, well done" for three months would be a waste of your money and your time. When he says a take is good, you will know he means it.
Same twelve sessions. Two ways to have them.
The twelve-week curriculum with five hours of live one-on-one where you need it most, unlimited reviews of your recordings for the full twelve weeks, the Academy for life, and the studio day — a professional ten-track reel, mastered.
EnrolEverything in the Launcher, and the twelve sessions live, every week. Constant WhatsApp access, priority placement on the VOISA roster, a business strategy session, and introductions through Craig’s twenty-year network.
ApplyAt this price it should be a conversation, not a checkout. Message first if you have a single doubt. Both programmes are once-off; nothing renews.
The questions that actually arrive.
How is this different from the Academy membership?
The Academy is every course, the booth and the tools, on your own, from R349 a month. Coaching is Craig. Live sessions, your recordings reviewed personally, WhatsApp between sessions, and a programme built around what your voice does — not a syllabus you watch. Coached students get the Academy for life as part of it.
Do I need a studio or a microphone?
No. A quiet room with soft furnishings and whatever mic you own — a phone, a headset, a laptop. We don't buy equipment before we know what you need it for. By week twelve you will know exactly.
I'm fifteen. Can I do this?
Yes, with a parent in the loop. Current students include teenagers. Parents get a shared folder with every lesson, every piece of homework and every note, from day one, so they can see exactly what is being worked on.
Can I do this from outside South Africa?
Yes. Sessions are live online. One current student trains from Abu Dhabi every Friday. The studio day at the end is in Gqeberha — if you can't travel for it, that is a conversation to have with Craig before you start, not a surprise at the end.
What happens if I miss a Friday?
You tell Craig, and it moves. Nothing is forfeited. The programme is twelve sessions, not twelve calendar weeks, and life happens.
Do I get a demo reel?
Yes. Both coaching programmes end with your strongest pieces recorded and produced properly — a real reel, not a phone recording with music under it.
What happens after three months?
An honest conversation. Some students are ready to charge and go. Some want another twelve weeks. Some join the roster and start getting briefs. Craig will tell you which, and why — that is the point of session twelve.
