This Privacy Policy explains how VOISA (Vector Live Group (Pty) Ltd) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit voisa.co.za or use our services. By using the site you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Who We Are

VOISA is a trading name of Vector Live Group (Pty) Ltd. We operate voisa.co.za — a voice training academy and talent booking platform based in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), South Africa. We are the responsible party for your personal data under POPIA.

What Information We Collect

Account data

Your name, email address, and a hashed password when you register or purchase a course.

Payment data

Your first name, last name, and email address as submitted at checkout. All card and banking details are processed exclusively by PayFast (Pty) Ltd. VOISA never sees, stores, receives, or has access to your card number, CVV, or banking credentials.

Audio recordings

Takes and demos you record and submit through the in-browser recording booth. This is the most sensitive category of data we hold. Recordings are stored securely, used only to provide coaching feedback, and retained for 12 months after submission. You may request deletion at any time by emailing privacy@voisa.co.za.

Usage data

Pages visited, time on site, device/browser type, and IP address — collected via analytics cookies only after you consent via the cookie banner.

Communications

Emails you send us, support requests, contact form submissions, and coaching notes.

How We Use Your Information

  • Delivering our training courses, coaching feedback, and platform services.
  • Processing your payments via PayFast.
  • Sending transactional emails: purchase confirmations, access credentials, and coaching feedback.
  • Sending promotional emails about new courses or features — only with your consent, and you may unsubscribe at any time.
  • Measuring platform usage and improving the product — analytics only after cookie consent.
  • Complying with our legal obligations under South African law.

Cookies

How We Share Your Information

  • PayFast (Pty) Ltd — to process payments.
  • Resend Inc. — to deliver transactional and marketing emails.
  • Base44 Ltd — our platform infrastructure and hosting provider.
  • We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing.

Retention

Account data: retained while your account is active and for 1 year after closure. Payment records: 5 years (Companies Act). Audio recordings: 12 months from submission, then permanently deleted unless you request earlier deletion. Analytics data: 26 months.

Your Rights

  • Right to access: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Right to correction: request that we correct inaccurate information.
  • Right to deletion: request that we delete your personal information (subject to legal retention obligations).
  • Right to object: object to processing your information for direct marketing at any time.
